When I watched Paige's pieces the first thing that struck me was that they "pulsed" and I wanted to give something of the feel of that in my piece of music, whilst still following the "emerging" idea. I recorded 3 tracks using 3 different VSTs: Reaktor Prism, Arturia Synclavier V and AAS Player (using the Richard Devine Abstractions bank) all playing more or less the same 3 notes at different speeds. I then proccesed all 3 through the Intellijel Rainmaker and the Erica Synths PICO DSP and recorded the result as I tweaked the parameters and slowly increased the amount of dry signal coming through.
