I wouldn't really want to claim this is music or art, although I suppose it is crafted in a way. I made it as something more functional or utilitarian. It's also probably not for everybody; I imagine some might find it noisy, boring, repetitive, or all of the above. Nor, by tagging it #hypnotic and #relaxing do I intend to claim there is any special magic spiritual woo-woo about it as sound.
I just did it to make something I find comforting/relaxing/calming/meditative when I put it on headphones where I can sit or recline comfortably for a while.
To be more specific, this is nine minutes of a 120bpm sine-wave ostinato on low A, mixed with layered loops of pure white noise generated via random.org. To the noise tracks in particular I applied some slight EQ to suit my tastes (generally reduced harsher frequencies slightly for a gentler sound) and ran through large-chamber digital reverb. No special mastering techniques applied, other than pushing it through a cheesy limiter.
Uploaded as uncompressed AIFF file. I applied a CC BY license only because SoundCloud doesn't offer an option to choose a CC0, but I personally consider the latter to apply: https://creativecommons.org/publicdomain/zero/1.0/
